Latest Favorite Reads for Business, Wellness, and Faith

If you’re anything like me, you love a good book that offers more than just a quick read—it brings inspiration, practical wisdom, or a fresh perspective.  I’ve gathered a list of go-to reads from my 2024 reading list that continue to inspire my journey, along with a few I’m excited to dive into soon. I thought, why not share these gems with you? After all, books have a way of connecting us, opening our minds, and giving us just the right insight at the right moment.

I’ve organized my recommendations into three categories—business, health/wellness, and faith. Each category brings something different to the table, whether it’s fueling your goals, recharging your mind and body, or nurturing your soul. Whether you’re an avid reader or just looking for a bit of motivation, I hope you find a book or two here to add to your own list.

Let’s jump in!

chasing slow by erin loechner

1.  Business:

I’ve placed this book under the business category because it gave me a fresh outlook on setting priorities and creating boundaries, which has helped me find a better balance between home and work. Erin’s approach inspired me to embrace a slower, more intentional pace, making each moment count and helping me focus on what truly matters.

If you’re looking for a powerful dose of motivation on your business journey, this book is exactly what you need! It’s packed with energy and inspiration to help you charge forward and tackle your goals with confidence.

This is a must-read for anyone in the early stages of their business journey! Donald Miller provides clear guidance on identifying the problems your brand solves and connecting with your target audience. Even if your business is well-established, this book offers a great way to step back and ensure your brand’s message is still hitting the mark.

If you’re looking to sharpen your communication skills, this classic is a game-changer. I didn’t realize how much room I had to grow in this area until I read it! Every tip is valuable, making it well worth the read (and the investment).

Deep Nutrition by Dr Cate Shanahan

2.  Health/Wellness

This book beautifully revives the time-honored traditions of cooking and nourishing our bodies the way our ancestors did. Fallon and Enig break down the essential vitamins and minerals our bodies thrive on, guiding us to the nutrient-rich foods that supply them. A true guide for anyone wanting to bring back wholesome, traditional nutrition into daily life!

This insightful read dives into the four pillars of nutrition and exposes some of the toxic foods commonly found in our modern diets, like seed oils. Dr. Shanahan presents strong medical and scientific evidence to support her views, making this a truly eye-opening and informative book. Highly recommended!

when people are big and god is small by Edward T. Welch

  3.  Faith

In a world dominated by social media and the constant pull for approval, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. This powerful book refocuses our attention on seeking God’s perspective rather than people’s. It’s a refreshing guide that will help you realign your values and make choices rooted in faith rather than public opinion.
