Well hello there!  My name is Beverly, and I'm so glad you popped in.

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, I developed a love for all things creative as a young child, and was always drawing or re-styling my bedroom.  It wasn't until my early 30's that I decided to enroll in a local visual art center to pursue art.  Since then, I have left my career as an elementary art teacher to become a full-time artist where I work out of my home studio in Chesapeake, VA.

My love for the Lord, family, home, nature, and coffee is what gives me life, and creating a Christ centered home full of beauty, love, joy, and cozy vibes for my family is my first priority. It is these simple everyday experiences that influence my creative process. 

Like many young artists, I have struggled with discovering my voice and purpose with art.  After years of praying, taking classes here and there, and studying the commonality in my paintings, I feel confident in my direction and purpose moving forward.  It is my desire to create an online space (website) where you can feel welcomed, loved, inspired, and find meaningful and joyful art that you can welcome into your own home.

I believe we all have been given gifts in order to minister to the world, and it is my mission to joyfully share God's love.
