Embrace February with Another Painting Adventure!

Hey there, lovely souls! Can you believe it’s already February? Time seems to be sprinting by, doesn’t it? But fear not, because I have just the thing to slow things down and infuse some creative magic into your days: another painting challenge!

Now, I know some of you might be new here, so let me break it down for you: a painting challenge is all about carving out a little slice of time each day to put brush to canvas. It’s not about the end result; it’s about the journey—the process of playing, experimenting, and honing your skills.

But why should you bother painting every day, you ask? Well, besides the obvious benefits of growth, experimentation, and play, there’s a whole host of other goodies waiting for you. For starters, painting daily can help reduce stress and anxiety, boost your mood, and even improve your focus and concentration. Now, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane to last year’s challenge, shall we? But this year, my dear friends, I'm switching things up a bit. My focus will be on portraits, using a minimal color palette of titanium white, yellow ochre, cadmium red, burnt sienna, and ultramarine blue.
