Exhibit Alert!
My Children of the King collection is going to the Chesapeake Central Library!
I have been working since the beginning of this year creating new paintings to add to my Twirly Dresses collection for my April solo show at the Chesapeake Central Library, and I've been having so much fun developing other ways to incorporate the crown in my work.
Pearls and Lace 8x10 oil on Canvas
The show will be opened for the entire month of April, and collection will consist of...
1. Twirly Dresses. These paintings are perfect for any little princess loving little girl who dreams of all things princess. They are painted with a bright colorful palette that remind me of the pastel colored salt water taffy candy that can be found along the beach boardwalks.
2. Crowned Babies. As a mom, my children are my greatest treasure, and what's sweeter than your baby wearing a crown? These Crowned Baby portraits freezes a moment in time, and will hold that moment forever. My girls range from 12 years to 26 years old, and I love looking at their baby pictures and reminiscing about their early years.
3. Crowned Beauties. Little girls dream of being a princess, but truth be told, even us big girls like to be valued like a princess. This collection highlights the beauty and value of all women.
These collections are created with such passion, and I love sharing them with you. If you find yourself in Chesapeake, VA during the month of April, I would love for you to swing by and take a peek.
